My mission is simple, in life and real estate, to take care of others as I would want to be cared for, with warmth, respect, honesty diligence, and a splash of humor.  I believe in listening before offering my opinion, being honest, even if I'm giving information that's hard to hear, being available and responsive.  I believe in staying connected, answering questions, returning calls, and giving you my best effort through every step of the journey.

I moved to Martha's Vineyard because of a family real estate situation, it was not the first time I'd been involved in a property sale, but it was more messy, complicated and emotional than I'd imagined, a real Moby Dick of a deal.  My husband and I had always fantasized about ditching our high speed lives in the big apple for the magical world of Martha's Vineyard, and the challenging sale and all it involved commanded our presence.  We arrived in the freezing grey month of November, 2007 with a VW packed with a toddler, and pet rabbit and impractical clothing.  Our initial months on the Island were challenging, but the warmth of the community, the natural beauty of the land, and the unique culture and pace of Island life convinced us to stay.

My mainland career was in public relations, marketing and the arts (fundraising and grant writing).  I worked with non-profits, a boutique PR agency, and in the business end of fashion marketing (Coach) and television (A&E and The History Channel).  I had the opportunity to do a lot of writing from mission statements to fifty page grants to PSAs and contracts, as well as work with some remarkable business leaders and managers. Creativity and measurable results were equally prized and I enjoyed being able to deliver.  Martha's Vineyard real estate has proven to be a perfect fit for this next chapter of my life.

I love meeting new people, and sharing the Island with others.  When I'm not showing houses, marketing properties, and researching the real estate market, you can find me doing yoga (I also teach, and founded the prenatal yoga program at the YMCA MV), running with my dog, cooking & gardening with my husband and kids, being a Little League mom, writing novels, and volunteering with my favorite Island non-profits (Vineyard Birth Collective, Island Grown Schools, YMCA MV, Red Stocking Fund, Island Food Pantry).

I can't wait to meet you and hear your Island story, perhaps I can help you write the next chapter ...
